Dean’s Message

Welcome to the Executive Training Programme at the National Institute of Bank Management.

For over five decades, NIBM has worked alongside India’s banks to build the capabilities their people need. More than 100,000 bankers from India and several other countries have taken part in our programmes, and each year the Institute conducts about 150 programmes for close to 5,000 participants.

Banking is changing quickly. Regulation, technology, climate risk and customer expectations all place new demands on bank executives. We review our programmes regularly so that they address these demands, across credit, risk, treasury, audit and compliance, digital banking, sustainable finance, leadership and more.

Our faculty combine academic research with practical banking experience. Programmes are run on our Pune campus, online, and within organisations as customised in-company interventions, so that each institution can choose the format that suits its people and priorities.
